As a child, I grew up in Southern California and Minnesota most of my life, spending summers in Mexico. I first began my journey to discover what wellbeing meant for me in my early twenties when I got diagnosed with an autoimmune condition.
I experimented with and attended a Cal State college close to home right after high school. About 3 years in, though somewhat uncertain, I decided to try to continue to pursue my education in a less impacted program in Minnesota, where I was planning to get a nursing degree.
Along the path of my efforts to obtain my nursing degree, I discovered the path I was on was not for me and felt confused. I shortly after got diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that catapulted me into hermitude and a healing crisis.
When I left college, I fell enamored with one of my professors who ran a small department at the community college in Integrative Holistic Health and Healing. I discovered EFT and I was left with an interest that sparked more directions.
To my surprise, in my hermitude, I discovered new parts of myself and new passions, pulling and expanding on that which was in me. I tried college, dove into Evolutionary Astrology, experimented with Human Design, took different courses, worked with different practitioners, tried different spiritual and mindfulness practices, tried diverse ways of eating and lifestyles, moved to different states, sold most of my belongings and stayed in a tent at an ashram. I have been a wild party animal, and I have been sober. Within the spaces in between, I worked many regular jobs; from local Grocery Stores, Target, bakeries, took and handed out drive thru orders and waiting tables. I also worked very closely with a diversity of children in preschool, home and neurodivergent learning center settings. And more. I feel really grateful for my experimentations and my unique individual experiences- because they have all helped me pick up pieces along my way, discover myself, my own sense of balance and what works best for me.
As a Certified Practitioner and through my experiences, I understand one size does not fit all and have a passion for helping people discover more about themselves, what works for them, and what fulfills them. My goal is to continue my education in safety, regulation and trauma resolution, to continue to share and support myself, individuals, families, and diverse communities.
My core values are Safety, Holistic Wellbeing, Compassion, Autonomy, Balance, Spirituality, and Adventure. Though I continue to see myself in a constant state of evolution and integration, forever learning- I have finally found ways of living that resonate with my unique sense of wellbeing and what works for me. I have hope that despite our inevitable, at times confusing and painful challenges we experience throughout life, we all have this same ability and inner-knowing.
As a holistic wellbeing and self-discovery coach, I hope and look forward to share with you my support and practical resources I have gathered along my way that may be supportive or helpful to you in your own process. I hope to help facilitate insight of your own innate wisdom and self-awareness through open dialogue and gentle curiosity, and to help you regain your confidence in your ability to live a life that feels well and authentic to you. With my heart, happy to support you through this exploration<3
With warmth and care, Amy<3
